Garyopa vient de sortir une nouvelle version de son pack intégrant ces tweaks dans toutes les versions de firmware

This release is greatly improved release over v1.1 releases!

Flashing your drive

FLASH.BAT automatically makes a backup of your firmware called ORIG.BIN

* Plug SATA cable from DVD drive to PC

* Power cable drive still connected to Xbox 360

* Ensure drive is in mode b either by two wire trick or slax linux boot cd

* Go to Windows

* Run FLASH.BAT from a dos prompt specifing drive letter,eg: "flash.bat h"

* Pauses has been added after each step, just press any key to continue.

* System will check flashed firmware, and redo until 100% completed.

* Once you get the PASS / DONE line, you can shut-down the system.

All done!

Run RESTORE.BAT to revert back to your original firmware eg "restore.bat h"

Media detection on Hitachi

--------------------------

Due to the Hitachi drives detection of Book-type DVD-Rom dual layer media

taking longer than other types of media (you will hear click click noise,

security sector read routine has not be executed at this stage!) this can

cause the Xbox360 dashboard to timeout causing open tray prompt.

This is normal operation for the Hitachi drive and has nothing to do with

the security sector read routine or any of the Xtreme firmware patches.

Use the HDTV switch/HDD trick to soft reset the console (this doesnt reset

the dvd drive) eliminating the timeout issue.

Unreconized disc/dirty disc error is due to incompatible media/burner/SS

for use with Hitachi.

Best results are found using Verbatim media and Pioneer burner.

v1.2 includes a "Dashboard" timeout tweak, with thanks from "Birdy" for

his v46 testing and playing with the coding. - To operation it just tap

the EJECT button if the dashboard reports OPEN TRAY when booting a DVD!

alors , j'ai pris mon courage pour reflash ... et je dois dire je ne suis pas du tout deçus ! ... nikel plus besoin de HD trick, on met le backup au dash, attend 5s, appuie sur eject, on rapuit un peu aprés et le backup démare

Pour infos j'ai pas reflashé avant avec le firm d'origine ... direct à partir du 1.1 que j'avais avant.

Je pense pas car vu que c'est la vérif de SS qui pose pb avec l'hitachi, si c'est un changement de dvd en cours de jeux pas de SS à revérifier (enfin ... à mon avis ...)

argh zouzz l'avait deja posté j'avais pas vu, j'suis pas en forme aujourd'hui

enfin en tout cas ca marche bien et c'est mieux que les led rouges du trick av ou du reboot avec le kit de recharge

Xtreme firmware for Hitachi 46D and 47D Xbox 360 V1.2 (tweak)

Ceci es une petite amélioration du firmware Xtreme 1.1

Il inclu 3 principals modifications :

1 : Mode B tweak

----------------

Si vous démarrez votre console le lecteur ouvert, celui-ci passe automatiquement en ModeB.

Pour ce faire:

Demarrez votre console et ouvrez le lecteur.

A ce moment il faut eteidre la console en débranchant l'alimentation.

Redemmarer votre console lecteur ouvert, celui-ci passe automatiquement en ModeB

2 : Tray open/close in ModeB (without adapter, hitachi on power supply from xbox).

Ce correctif corrige le probleme avec l'ouverture et la fermeture du tiroir en modB.

Maintenant vous pouvez utiliser le lecteur sous windows sans adaptateur, celui-ci directement

alimenté par la console.

3 : ---- Dashboard TimeOut tweak with DVD DL --- ;-)

Astuce ayant pour but de contrer le fameux "Ouvrir le tiroir" quand un DVD DL met trop

de temp a etre reconnu.

Quand un disque es inséré dans le lecteur, si vous recevez le message "ouvrir le tiroir" du dash:

Appuyer sur le bonton d'ejection, la console vous indique "ouverture" mais le lecteur reste fermé

et continue sa reconnaissance.

Appuyer une deuxieme foit, la console indique "Fermeture" "lecture" sans se rendre compte de l'astuce.

C'es la fin du TimeOut lol ;-)

Cette astuce n'es en fonction que pendant la reconnaissance , avant ou une foit le disque reconnu tous revient a la normal

J ai celui ci en ma posession et lui est bien a premiere vu, pour tous les hitachis .

Testesur mon 47D qui boutait quedal de chez quedal via le dashboard et tous via le switch HD/TV

Eh ben la avec ce firmware, tous passe sans probleme , appuyé 2 fois sur eject une fois le Backup lancé.

J ai flashé via mon firmw original puis ensuite celui la .

- mode invisible: modification de la fonction de lecture de la memoire du lecteur afin de retourner un firmware standard

(prevention d'un test du firmware)

- modification de la table du dvd : les dvd xbox et dvd dl on une table difference, cette correction devrais rendre le firwmare encore plus "invisible"

Bon tous ca va me prendre du temp et j'aurais sans doute besoin de testeur si ca interesse quelqu'un ?

La 1.2 de garoyopa est pour tous les hitachis , vois mon poste un peu haut.

Oui mais je prefere attendre celui de birdy avec les nouvelles fonctions pour rendre le firmware invisible.

Garyopa a porter les modifs sur les autres firmware et refait le micrologiciel pour flasher le lecteur.

Donc pour les autre lecteurs que le 46D n'hesitez pas, C'es le bon
