not that this will get answered but .... A question about icons ... how does the gamesave menu get its icon ? .. as if this has icons .. could we not use the same procedure to get the icons up in the game launching sections too !? if not, wheres the restriction on getting these icons working ? script, or xbe ? i STILL use this as one of my main dash's would be great to bring this dash upto date !! (with only a pinch of stuff from UIX/SL-x and this dash would be back to public number 1 agian ) Mick ...

im LOVING the new release well done folks ! loading times are spot on now 2 things that needs to be noted .. the Pro english instructions has a few bugs !! .. for example in the [ApparenceMenusDD02] section french says it has 13 entries, and eglish 12, and there both in dif places !!! used the original ApparenceMenusDD02.xbc to guess it etc .. there are more i saw when i was setting it up .. but canna remeber off hand ! and also, do we STILL have to make a icons.xip for all our xbe icons ?? will u be implimening getting icons from xbe ?? (like in UIX an variants ?) thats about ALL thats left to add !! (that an the game ripper/file manager) well done peeps Mick ..

one thing ive been trying to get info on .. and noone wants/cannot help me on the default load up tab as in which tab the dash loads up on hovering over ... as at the moment (with 4 tabs) boots up on tab3 (music|) every time and i want it to boot up on the top one (hddmenu) Mick .. EDIT .. asked EVERYWERE (IRC, several diferent forums) and have had NO help what so ever ... (did have a spark of attention, in uix=mods in efnet) really does'nt seem to be any kinda active scene on helping DIY code improvments unlees im just not found it but started to dig deep myself .. and found out that its all about the variable nCurMainMenuItem and found that its set in the initialize() function so a simple number change and all is how i want it now WAHOOOO thought id post, so it can maybe help others ?? Mick .. EDIT PS... now looking into the bug that on a shortcut on press of 'x' that goes straight to apllication.. ONLY works once ya been into any kinda menu first and return to the main menu.. any help appreciated, or a place to chat about it (IRC ???)

first of .. what a excellent dash been playing arround with this for a a couple of days and loving it ! two questions ... ONE is if possible to add better disc scanning ? (i can test any code ya throw at me !) so it scans not just the root of a disc, but subfolders; for default.xbe ? and auto add them to a menu .. (like the games menu, or even in its own menu !!) as at present if a disc is inserted it does add a dvd reader selection up in the hard drive menu.... wundered if we could expand on this ?? if it finds default.xbe, in root, or subfolders. add them to a menu. on insert !) TWO any way we can at presnt or test, quicker load times ?? i know 5/6 seconds is not a lot, but it is when ya used to less than half !? but then there is always a bad thing when u have so many good things ! other than that i think this is the most complete and configurable dash's out there ! please keep up the GREAT work .. and please continue with this style !! .. (maybe use UIX mediaplayer once its out ? and maybe there better FTP and load times but other than that stay how U are !! ) most pleased .. Mick .
