X-DSL v0.5

[Newserator]

Une nouvelle version de X-DSL (mini-distribution Linux de 42 Mb basé sur damn small linux)vient de sortir.

Elle est basée sur DSl 2.1RC2 et a subit quelques changements :

- Firefox mis a jour

- Le choix du bureau : JWM et fluxbox

- TED remplace FLWRITER (traitement texte)

- GtkFind utility ajouté

- Nouveau moniteur systeme

et encore plein d autres updates....

Most of the XDSL cheatcodes are unchanged from Damn Small Linux. Here is a list of those available

xsetup - Prompt user for X setup

noicons - If booting to X use plain desktop

mydsl={hda1|sda1} - Restore myDSL apps

base - Skip myDSL load only the base system

norestore - Turn off the automatic restore

restore={hda1|sda1} - Specify saved configuration location

{ssh|lp|nfs|syslog|monkey|ftp|joy} - Start various deamons at boot

lang=us (cs da de es fr nl it pl ru sk uk ...) - Choose Language/Keyboard

no{scsi|pcmcia|usb|agp|swap|apm|firewire|audio} - Disable HW-detection

dma - Turn on DMA accel. for all drives

2 - Runlevel 2, Textmode only

frugal - Mount boot drive as read/write

eth0=ip,nm,dg,dns - Use a static ip for networking. Here ip is your IP address, nm your netmask, dg your default gateway and dns your dns server

host=xxxx - Set hostname to xxxx

secure - Prompt for root and dsl passwords

protect - Password encrypted backup

ah une nouvelle version peut on espérer que le prob d'affichage existant sur l'ancienne version avec les XBOX 1.6 soit résolu ?

apparemment rien dans le change log la dessus enfin pour moi !!!

Moi je l'ai déja testé

L'installation nikel ! tres facile (au moins ca a marché pas comme avec la 0.4 )

Mais pour ce qui est de l'utilisation je galère toujours autant...j'arrive déja pas a lancer un cd audio, il veut pas le détecter...

Si quelqu'un a des tuto pour x-dsl ca serai sympa parceque jai cherché par tout mais je trouve que pour l installation et pas pour l utlisation
