Remettre La Region En Pal

Salut a tous...

voila g une ptite question rapido,

en fait g une xbox 1.6 avec l'exploit ude 2 et je voudrai passer a l'uxe mais je ne c pas comment proceder

soit : -je refais la manipulation par telenet pour remettre la region europeene

-g remarquer un nouveau fichier new_region.bin (je suis pas sur de l'extension) et je le supprime?

-ou bien vous avez une solution?

A mon avios tu peux tout faire en un coup :

- changer de région avec ConfigMagic (c'est très simple)

- installer l'UXE par FTP

le tout sans éteindre la XBox, à moins que tu aies 007 ou un autre jeu "à faille" pour récupérer le coup !

ConfigMagic est une application XBox classique, que tu installes sur ta XBox comme n'importe quelle autre.

Elle te permet de locker ou délocker ton disque dur, flasher ton eeprom, le modifier (c'est le cas qui nous intéresse)....tout ça directement sur la XBox.

A mon avis si tu ne retombes plus sur la save, c'est parce que ta XBox est en NTSC et que c'est une save PAL.

Je m'aperçois que je t'ai dit une ânerie...ConfigMagic ne fonctionne pas avec les 1.6 ! (il ne reconnaît pas leur eeprom).

Tu devras donc le faire en telnet (là je n'y connais rien).

le mieux a faire c'est comme tu dis de repasser par telnet

tu suis le tuto que tu a fais pour mettre ta xbox de 4 en 1,ici tu fais de 1 a 4.....

je crois que tu peut acceder a ca en démarrant avec le tiroir de la console ouvert

de la tu lance mini linux

Steps needed

PART 1 - setting the xbe region (no risk)

When bootet to the ltools menu run "mini-linux". Make a network connection to your PC and telnet to the xbox :

IP : 192.168.0.3

Netmask : 255.255.255.0

User : root

Pass : xbox

Once in, do the following :

Type xberegion and push enter.

You will see something like this :

Select a new region (eeprom is written to a new file) :

1. 01 (USA/Canada)

2. 02 (Japan)

3. 04 (Elsewhere) :

Choose a new region and you will see this

ici tu choisis le 4

New eeprom written to file : new_region.bin

Check that the eeprom looks correct by running : xtool -a -f new_region.bin

And compare to the output from your current eeprom : xtool -a

Do as adviced. Run the two xtool commands to compare the newly generated eeprom with the one on the motherboard. This is to test that they both decrypt and hold the same information except for the XBE region.

That's the first step. Your new eeprom has been generated as new_region.bin

PART 2 - Writing back the eeprom (pay attension!)

Type xtool -w new_region.bin and hit enter. You will see this :

Be sure to check that the eeprom you are trying

to write back to the motherboard looks correct

(especially the HDD password) by running :

xtool -a -f new_region.bin

Are you sure you want continue writing back eeprom [y/n] ?

If you didnt already check the new eeprom image with xtool answer n and do it now.

Otherwise answer y. You should see this :

Now check that the eeprom on the motheroard is OK by running : xtool -a

BEFORE shutting down the xbox.

If it is not OK try writing back the eeprom once more.

If you dont see this maybe the linux cannot acces the eeprom chip.

If the eeprom was succesfully written back, be sure to check that the eeprom on the motherboard is working and producing the correct information before shutting down the xbox.

Run : xtool -a

to verify this. Take special notice of the HDD password since the xbox cannot unlock the HDD on the next reboot if this is not correct.

If everything looks correct you can continue to install UDE2 from the commandline by typing : UDE -UDE2

WARNING!!! Since your xbox will now only run region 1 xbe's you should not shutdown or reboot the xbox unless you have a region 1 exploitable game or until you have installed a region 1 compatible softmod (like UDE2)

Faux! d'ailleurs je t'ai envoyé une version du configmagic qui fonctionne avec les 1.6, tu n'as pas essayé adoubeur??

DEF11C, si tu veux je t'envoie la version de configmagic pour que tu puisses changer ta région en éditant l'eeprom.je sais que configmagic peut le faire, mais perso je n'ai jamais eu besoin a le faire. il est souvent dit que configmagic ne fonctionne pas avec les 1.6 et c'est en parti vrai, car la version finale,et d'autres ne fonctionne effectivement pas!

mais j'ai une version beta2 (pas récente en plus!!! ) qui fonctionne sur les 1.6. plusieurs membres du forums l'on essayé et testé avec succès.

pour ce logiciel il suffit de l'installer avec tes autres applications dans ta xbox et de lancer configmagic par ton dash. tu arriveras a un menu qui te permettra d'éditer ton eeprom comme tu le veux.

je te conseille de faire un back up de ton eeprom (evox le fait simplememnt avec la commande backup, ou simplement avec configmagic), au cas ou il y aurait un soucis!
