Dash2gam Alternative Start Directory

I have just installed the Ultimate Dash Exploit package for softmodding my xbox. The only problem is that with this exploit my start up dash board has to be located in e:\Dashboard . And I want Dash2Gam to be the default dash, however it only starts from C, E, or F. How can I make it start from my e:\Dashboard folder? I have been reading around and people have hex edited the dashboard, and I'm not familiar with that. Can some one help me out please?

As far as i know (this means not so much ) :

2Gam can only work if placed at the root of a partition.

If you place it in a directory (like E:\dashboards) you'll get error21.

I don't know if hex editing can fix that but some on this forum will be able to tell you that.

indeed, my Dashboard works at the root of the partition.

For your problem, there is when same a means so that that functions.

But it is necessary to modify the bios which is getting loaded by Phoenix

I want you to do it well, for that, send me on my ftp (ftp://213.245.37.136 login:bios password:bios) the file '.bin' which you must have in a folder 'bios' has the root of ' C: ' or of ' E: '.

2gam's dash is really based on a root directory, i think it'll be too complicated to launch it through a subdir (its NOT just by hexediting the xbe)... so u need to edit your pbl like 2gams suggests to do for ya

i've got the same pb w/ audio exploit & pbl which needs to get his def dash from e:/sys , but i didn't found time yet to edit my pbl

2Gam: D'accord! I put my file (xboxrom.bin) in your ftp. This is the Xecuter 4981 bios which boots from C: drive.

it is ok, you can take again the file xboxrom.bin on the ftp.

you put the dash2GAM.xbe and the file at the root of the partition E:

The boot sequence of the bios is:

' E:\dash2GAM.xbe'

' E:\Dashboard\default.xbe'

' C:\evoxdash.xbe'

I hope that it will be fine.

Fodrai cree un autre topic pour ce pleindre de certain utilisateur hein alphaxav parce que la j'ai bo chercher je voit pa ou sa gene mes 3 petit post plutot sympathique alors ce genre de reflexion sa fait pa super plaisir surtou ke sur pa mal de topic il ya ecrit ce genre de plaisanterie.... salut étant nouveau dans le domaine de la xbox et ayant le mm probleme, j'aimerai savoir ou je pourai récupérer le fameux fichier (car je serai imcapable de le faire moi moi), g essayer le ftp mé je n'ai pa pu y rentrer...
