Brandogg Posté(e) le 27 juillet 2004 Posté(e) le 27 juillet 2004 I've edited the icons.xip with a bunch of icons for my games and apps. I've renamed the folders the games are in to match what it says in icons.xip, and that only helped one game - Max Payne 2, I also tried renaming the folders to show what is in the savegames, and no luck there either. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
2GAM Posté(e) le 27 juillet 2004 Posté(e) le 27 juillet 2004 Hello, Publish the default.xap in icons.xip and adds or withdraws the sections which you need has. It is necessary that the name of the file of your plays is equal to the name which is posted in the dash. excuse me for my English. ps in french: j'ai traduit avec Google, si c'est pas ca, merci de rectifier.
tatsui Posté(e) le 27 juillet 2004 Posté(e) le 27 juillet 2004 (modifié) i complete with an example edit default.xap in icons.xip with winxip for the emulator kawaxxx, it looks like this (in default.xap) Transform { children [ Shape { appearance Appearance { texture ImageTexture { url "kawaxxx.tga" } } geometry Box {} } ] translation 0 0 300 } repertory of the emu is kawaxxx, kawaxxx is the name of application, game etc in dash icons is kawaxxx.xbx (in icons.xip) same thing for other stuff.. insert the new default.xap and *.xbx in icons.xip and put it in dash2gam folder Modifié le 27 juillet 2004 par tatsui
Brandogg Posté(e) le 27 juillet 2004 Auteur Posté(e) le 27 juillet 2004 Is there such thing as an XAP editor? I tried with Wordpad (before I saw this) and it didn't show any new icons. I might have messed up, but I don't see how.

Brandogg Posté(e) le 27 juillet 2004 Auteur Posté(e) le 27 juillet 2004 I know - I got a bunch of titleimage.xbx images, and renamed them to match the folders which contain the games, and put them in icons.xip, I edited the default.xap too, to match some of the new icons, but they still don't show. I'll try again later, I might have messed up somewhere. Anyway, thanks for all your help, I appreciate you guys helping out a non-French speaker like myself very much.
Brandogg Posté(e) le 27 juillet 2004 Auteur Posté(e) le 27 juillet 2004 Wait a sec - do I need to change, for example "fbaxxx.tga" to "fbaxxx.xbx", provided that the image I'm using is called fbaxxx? I think that's where I screwed up.

I think that's where I screwed up. no. for fbaxxx, try this in default.xap Transform { children [ Shape { appearance Appearance { texture ImageTexture { url "fbaxxx.tga" } } geometry Box {} } ] translation 0 0 300 } ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- your icon fbaxxx.xbx ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ icon and default.xap must be in icons.xip ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- in your configpro.ini verify that entries [Applications] 1=fbaxxx (same name in default.xap and fbaxxx.xbx) 2=E: 3=emus 4=default.xbe [MenuLancementDD_3_2GAM] 1=Emulateurs 2=emulateurs 3=default.xbe 4=fbaxxx 5=Applications
Brandogg Posté(e) le 28 juillet 2004 Auteur Posté(e) le 28 juillet 2004 I FINALLY got it. I've been forgetting to replace default.xap inside icons.xip - a stupid mistake on my part. Editing the ini file isn't necessary it turns out too. Thanks again, you guys are a big help.
