Dash2gam From E:\apps\

I was trying to run dash2gam from e;\apps\, so I downloaded dash2gam e:\ version and applied 0.3 patch. then i hex edited default.xap and changed

"\\Device\\Harddisk0\\Partition1\\xboxdash2GAM.10027100\\2GAM.data\\config_pro.ini"

to

"\\Device\\Harddisk0\\Partition1\\apps\\d2g\\xboxdash2GAM.10027100\\2GAM.data\\config_pro.ini"

and

C:\\xboxdash2GAM.10027100\\2GAM.data\\" to "C:\\apps\\d2g\\xboxdash2GAM.10027100\\2GAM.data\\" and as I am using font exploit and use xbox.xft and xbox book.xft so I hex edited dash2gam.xbe and changed all XTF to XFT. but I get error when trying to launch? is there anything more I can do.

hi,

seems that dash can only be launched from C, E or F root.

If u use evox (for example) and want to use dash2GAM as an app, put dash2GAM.exe to root directory and try this

Item "dash2GAM","e:\dash2GAM.xbe"

i don't know if hex editing in that way is such a good idea, dash 2GAM use xtf not xft, i use fonts exploits too and i got a f0nts repertory with original xbox.xtf and xbox book.xtf inside

try to hex editing dash2gam.xbe and change fonts to f0nts (zero not O )

I hex edited default.xap so that it can run from e:\apps\d2g\ but I think its the fonts problem. I dont see anything when I search for "fonts" in hex editor.

so, search for 66006F006E00 and remplace by 660030006E00 (2times)
