Cobra Odde Firmware 2.0

La team Cobra est heureuse de présenter le Firmware 2.0 de son ODDE qui apporte de nouvelles fonctionnalités ainsi que le support du Firmware 4.55 de Sony. Puisque la solution n'est pas aussi parfaite que sur les Firmwares précédents, la team recommande de rester en 4.53 et fournit cette solution pour ceux qui auraient accidentellement mis à jour ou qui souhaites profiter du SEN. Elle nous informe rechercher une meilleure solution pour le futur.

Avant d'utiliser l'ODDE, la team conseille de bien lire la nouvelle documentation (in english of course), il faut mettre à jour l'ODDE correctement et souder un fil à la porte du lecteur sur console 4K.

Un QSV V5 sortira prochainement en conséquence. Il sera livré avec un adaptateur spécial qui remplira cette fonction à l'aide d'un câble plat dédié.

- Support du Firmware 4.55

- Génération à la volé du menu (pas d'application PC nécessaire)

- Support complet du système d’éjection sur 4K

- Activation du mode Passthrough depuis le XMB, plus besoin de l’interrupteur

Cobra ODE News - Update

We are proud to present the 2.1 release, firstly we're updating the firmware to Improve stability and performance as well as fix bypass method not working for some PS3 models and we have made the Cobra browser the default game manager as well as displaying the firmware version in the browser and added new configuration options.

We haven now updated the bypass tools, the genps3swapdisc tool will now be able to update an existing swap disc when new eboots are added to it and previously converted isos will not need to be re-converted for the new swap disc. The EBOOT folder has also been updated, now with 5760 total eboots files.

The database has also been updated, and The user manual has now been updated illustrating new

config options.

A small number of 5.1B early production boards had a

manufacturing issue which caused them to corrupt data

and the PS3 would show an error when trying to run games.

We are releasing an update specifically for those boards which have issues and which should fix the problem, although we cannot guarantee every board will be fixed by the update. We recommend anyone with a defective board to return it for replacement after making sure the issue they are experiencing is caused by a defective board.

If the normal 2.1 firmware does not work for you and you get

error 80010017 or 80010007 in the XMB, but the error disappears

after you use the special 2.1 firmware for defective boards,

then your board has the defect and you can request a replacement.

Cobra ODE News - Update

We are pleased to announce the release of the 2.0 fw for 5.10B QSV pcb's. This brings the new version of the v5 QSV functionality on par with the v3 and v4 / v4 QSV pcb's. We have included a brief txt explaining the upgrade process for the v5 QSV board. The user manual will be updated shortly with this information.

For users on 4.55 using the 4000 series PS3 and the 5.10B, please ensure that you also install the JTAG adapter pcb and applicable FFC cables to control the drive cover switch. The 4.55 bypass software and documentation in the downloads section is also relevent to your pcb version.
