We know everyone here is suffering with the release delays of the product that seem to be never ending. We have the hardware here, the product is real and it's awesome. We are hoping that by making these small videos, the wait is less painful - or maybe it will have the opposite effect. The Software team is hard at work improving the GUI. We have already gone through over 10 firmwares in the space of 2 weeks to improve the menu system and functionality, no real bugs, just making everything easier for the end user. One thing that MicroSoft introduced last year is Ap2.5 checks. Basically when you duplicate your disc with all current methods there are some checks MS can do on the disc when it boots to see if you are playing the original version, or a copy of your original (disc, or iSO now with xKey). The most annoying thing about these checks is MS change them on every single dashboard update. There are 6 x ap2.5 games, and apparently if MS wanted to, they could go back and activate the protection on every single game in the last couple of years. This would be a nightmare for people that didn't have the xkey as they would have to re-burn everything again. It makes modding almost pointless, and its easier to play the original game and hope you or your kids don't mess it up. With the xKey, all you would have to do is run ABGX on the games, and in half an hour you are back up and running. However, now things have been made even easier for xkey owners. All of the XGD3 games also have ap2.5 on the disc. Waiting for AGBX to update their data every dashboard update is also a bit tedious...
