Il existe un tuto sur xbox scene qui détaille comment raccorder son hdd à la console en interne.

Pour le modele WD Scorpio WD1600BEVS 160 Go pour un changement vers un 120 go c'est pas la meme connectique ?

Pourtant cela y ressemble tres fort au vu des photos que j ai vu sur le net ?

C'est la même connectique, mais pour celui qui ne l'a pas (ou qui l'a cassé), on peut aussi mettre directement le hdd en interne. VOilà ce que je voulias dire.

Bah à ce moment là, il faut que tu connectes en interne.

well here is the best tutorial on how to do this that i hav seen in a while (all the others had corrupted pics or they where of bad quality)

This is a tutorial on how to internalize your stock 360 hard disk drive.

Disclaimer

I do not take any responsibilities for your mistakes on this mod. It can be tough soldering to the small points so i would not recommend doing this if you have no experience soldering. This will void you 360's warrantee and your hard disk drives warrantee.

Ok, now down to the mod!

This is my first tutorial so go easy on me.

Ok.

Tools and equipment that you will need:

- a sata data cable

- a sata power cable

- (instead of buying each separately i bought a sata data and power cable)

- wire

- electrical tape

- soldering iron

- solder

- t10, t9, t8,& t6 screw bits

- 360

- 360 hdd

- hot glue and hot glue gun or something of this nature

- and above all, PATIENTS

How to do the mod:

First, Get your HDD, t6 and t10 screw-bits, and your sata power and data cable

Then, you need to locate these screws and unscrew them with your t6 bit

here is the drive without the screws

then you have to unscrew these screws with a t10 screw bit

this is the mess i have made after taking the 360 case appart. i am not going to tell you how to do this because its simple and its in a tut on here already.

This is the power side

there are seven pins on the outside, pin #7 is on the side where the drop is located in this pic

I cut the data side where i showed you above and found 8 wires. i twisted the 2 middle wires together. i then made sticky things to label the wires. numbered 1-7. remember 7 = the drop!

then i cut the molex side off and cut down the yellow and black wires which are 12volts and its -. the red and black are 5 volts and its -. these are what the hdd will use.

this is where to solder on the bottom side of the motherboard under where the hdd normally connects. pin # 14 isnt used so DO NOT SOLDER ANYTHING TO IT!!!!!!!. pick one 5 volt and one -.

this is what mine looked like once i was done soldering. i used brown for positive and red for the negative.sorry about that.

I had to cut the little prong on the left side of my fan so that the fan could fit in.

remember make sure that no 2 points are bridged or bad things can happen.

je vais faire l'acquisition d'un WD 1200BEVS prochainement et j'aimerais garder le contenu de mon ancien disque dur de 20 Go (surtout les sauvegardes quoi ) !

si je fait le backup de mon 20 Go avec Xplorer360, pourrais-je le reinjecter sans soucis dans mon nouveau 120 Go (toujours avec Xplorer360) ?

jai vus aussi que le dd 120 de la bobox elte se vendait seul avec un cable et ce que on peut le mettre a la place du 20g ou il doit rester en externe

Et puis pls rien je redemarre pour voir et le programme n'a rien fait....aucun changement ?

Une idee ? j espere que WEBCAPTAIN ne sait pas trompé qu'il faut bien un BEVS160 au lieu d'un BEVS120 car la ...... j'suis dans le caca !!!!!!

A. First, make sure you are running it from dos, not from a dos box under windows. Then,

try playing with the SATA/RAID settings in your bios. Not all SATA controllers are

supported. I use a VIA controller, which works perfectly. However my tool fails to

see my Promise controller.

Mmmm ... pourtant il est bien detecté dans le HDDhack.... tu voudrais dire que je dois tester tous mes ports sata ?
