[Probleme Avec Home Front]

Looking for some help with the game homefront. So I purchased my copy of Homefront, I backed it up and applied the 3.55 CFW fix. Ive spent a good few hours playing the game and I went online today using both Spoof 3.6 and PSN and it all worked perfect. Now tonight I fancied another game and It wont work!!!Well I say iy wont work, Ive discovered it wont work if I have my Internet enabled.If I switch the Internet off It loads up and lets me play missions, but If I switch the Internet on to play online the game gives me a black screen with a No signal message on my TV. I really dont understand what could be wrong as it was all working perfect, nothing has changed except for upgrading MM to the new version and yes I have tried using the previous version of MM. Internet on - Black screen no boot up of the game. Internet off - Game boots up perfect.

Any Ideas?

I installed the new open manager(2.1 Rev I-2) and it wont let me use my png covers on it...i have them in the same directory...root external COVERS and oman wont find them...so i installed the old oman 2.1 I which was working like 5 mins ago...doesnt find the cover png's any help?

Even though the PS3 failure rates are very low vs the Xbox 360 (red ring of death), its never a bad idea to have a backup of your game save file to a memory stick. This recipe will walk you through this and explain briefly how to backup game saves that are copy protected.

Backing Up Game Saves to Memory Stick

1. On the XMB (cross media bar), go to the Game section.

2. Go to Game Saves

3. Put in your memory stick (cf, ms duo, sd)

4. Find the game save you want to copy/backup, highlight it and hit the Triangle button.

5. Choose the menu option to Copy

6. Hit the X button on the memory stick and let it copy.

Voila, easy backup of your game save file you prob put hours of playing into!

A few games have copy protected game save files. To backup these files you can’t just copy them to a memory stick, you will need to do an actual system backup.

To do a full system backup (this will basically copy ALL of the photos, music, videos and game save files and settings on the PS3 to a backup folder; you will need to have an external usb harddrive or thumbdrive w/enough space on it).

In the XMB, go to System

Go to Settings > System Settings > Backup Utility

Then choose Back Up

Finally, pick the device to backup too (memory stick, usb harddrive, etc).

To help save space on the full system backups, I usually will backup all of my photos, music, videos to a seperate harddrive and then delete them from the PS3 harddrive prior to a backup.

As far as I know, the answer is no. You need to plug in an Ethernet cable or wfi adapter. Then you can download demos for free. Most XBL arcade games cost money though.

Your console has been flagged not sure if thers any way around getting banned eventually, in the mean time you have to redownload your profile to uncorrupt it and you also will have to back up your saved game data to a memory stick or something of the like and sorry to say permanately delete fable3 data all together and reformat your Hdd. At least thats what I've read since ap25 was first discovered to be corrupting things.
