ohh you have to do it in dos? i guess that would be the unpackaging part then i guess...but i still havent figured out why i cant delete stuff on z though

dammit!!!! i posted the stuff into songs and other into db i put in the songs folder kdsalrht and in that folder is the mid,bin, lft and put in the xapdcm folder i put in the vox.wav

and it stays frozen at the konami load screen wtf am i doing wrong??

i renamed all the iheardit files to kdsalrht and put them in the folder

Have you read the documentation for KRMaker and the Unpackager?

Outside of that, I can load my copies of db.dta and songs.dta onto the ftp site and you can compare against those. They'll be in the KRMaker and Tools folder.

Have you been able to upload to the site? It is setup so that you can only upload into the Upload folder.

ok i am at a lost mine is just not going on..but i copied iamthird36 db and song file and every song he has on there works when i upload them..so the question is what am i doing that is different that i dont know about...i will upload the song and tell me if it is even in sync or not..because i am kinda getting pissed off that i want to see why this is not working..and if it is can you post your db and songs.dta so i can see what i am doing...thx

the best advice can give you is to compare the db.dta & songs.dta files as "iamthird36" said. i think your problems lies in editing the files so here is a copy and paste of what mine looks like and what to add. i have put in bold the song i have added. assuming you have all the other files i.e. .rnd, .lip, .vox, etc.

I've uploaded an updated db.dta and songs.dta that should have every song on the ftp site.

I don't manually edit these files. I use KRMaker's KRUnpackager. It sets everything up just right.

I am the biggest F-ing retard, the folder was wrong and then i touched up the db and song and now it works...but now the words are like clashing together..how do you fix that? thx for everything guys...and the timing actually wasnt that bad but now the problem i am having is that i unlocked all the downloadable content like the music from rev 2 on there like toxic but when i pick them they freeze..so i will just delete the game reinstall and keep the db and song files...i will be making more now because IT WORKED!! OHH YA I AM FREAKING HAPPY but i will have to touch up offspring kdsalrht, it works alright but words stick together..i am assuming because of where the bars end. thx again

The notes associated with the words may just be too short. So the words all bunch together. I haven't had a chance to check out the file, but I've had that problem before.

I'm having problems creating my own songs. I can see the song in the list and hear the preview music, but when I pick the song it freezes at the loading screen. It seems it is a problem with the midi file because if I switch it with another midi it works. I'm using the program to create the midi, making my own notes/lyrics. Are you guys making it differently? I'd really like to know what I'm doing wrong.

i dont know what would be wrong, i had no problem with mine yet. maybe it depends on te midi i dont know..lol my problem is i have the homebrews working but the legit ones that are unlocked like perfect and drift away freeze

Tool To Add Songs To Original Karaoke Revolution Options

Stealthy, I'll try and help you do it manually, I don't have access to my computer or my

xbox so I'll try and do this from memory. When YOu extract the newsong.zip file you should

get 4 items;

songs\newsong\newsong.mid

xadpcm\newsong_vox.wav

db.dta

songs.dta

#1 make a folder on you desk top call it manually, or whatever

#2 FTP to your xbox and into the Karaoke Revlution in the songs folder ftp and grab any

song, it will use the song white flag. I don't know how Revlution abbreviated the song

but I'll use the abbreviation 'whitflg'. Also ftp the db.dta and songs.dta files they're

in the config folder

#3 extract the newsong.zip file to the manually folder, before you extract the newsong.zip file

make another folder called config and extract it to there.

#4 Now go into the whitflg folder and copy the _weights,.ltf and the _lip.rnd files

into the songs\newsong\newsongs.mid. Now rename them so this is what your have in your

folder

newsong.mid

newsong_weights

newsong_lip.rnd

newsong.ltf

#5 Next we have to edit the .dta files open the db.dat you extracted from the newsong.zip

copy everything in that and close that file

#6 Open the db.dta file that you got off your xbox and open that. Now paste the file you

copied into this file. You should paste it where the file fomat looks the same. Now scroll

down the page and you should see an area that say something like 'initial unlocked songs'

or something. These are the song that are unlocked at the start of the game, so put the

title of the song here. After you done that close and save the changes.

#7 Open the song.dta from the extracted newsong.zip file, copy everything in that file

and close it.

#8 Open the song.dta file that you got off your xbox and open that. Now paste the file

you copied into this file, when I edit this file I paste everything at the top of the

page.

#9 Now ftp to you xbox and into Karaoke Revolution and transfer your new db.dat and song.dta

into the config folder and over right the old data.

#10 Go in the xadpcm folder and transfer the newsong_vox.wav file into there.

#11 Go into the songs folder and transfer the whole folder 'newsong' into there

I think I covered all the step to put song on your xbox manually. The new song should show

if I didn't forget anythink. If somebody see that I missed something please point it out.

I would be suprise if it would out for you seeing that I type this out from memory.

It's not that hard to add all the songs to karaoke revolution.

1. install game to xbox hard drive.

2. download all the songs from the ftp site

3. download & install the KRMaker program

Now the complicated bit, because you have 3 choices. Either: (in order of ease)

A: downlaod & run KRunpacker script.zip from the FTP & run it. follow the prompts..... This will do all the work for you. Then reboot your xbox, when done.

or,

B: run the KRMaker unpackager, upload all the songs to your Xbox. & reboot.

or,

C: extract all the files from all the zip files. Manually update the songs.dta & db.dta files. upload all songs & reboot xbox

/dta files/Full files by Cha² le db.dta et le songs.dta complet et full working pour les chansons dispos sur ce ftp + un zip comprenant les scripts pour faire des répertoires songs complets.

Dans Karaoke Revolution, j'ai posé un zip Complete Pack avec les db.dta, songs.dta, le répertoire songs prêt à l'emploi.

Il ne restera plus qu'à remplir le répertoire xadpcm.

Ne vous étonnez pas si les mouvements de lèvres sont faux, et si les avatars dansent un peu bizarrement, les mouvements de lèvres sont repiqués depuis la chanson addlit.

Pour le tempo des danseurs, je pense que cela se change dans le fichier songs.dta au niveau du genre de la chanson, par défaut, toutes les chansons additionnelles ont un nom commençant par * et ont le genre KgenreRock.

Les fichiers wav durent généralement bien plus longtemps que la chanson réelle. Sur 4 minutes de chansons, il peut y avoir 5 minutes de blanc. Il est possible de supprimer ce blanc pour réduire la taille du WAV

il faut copier le jeux sur ton disque dur.

apres il faut ouvrir le fichier song, copier la chanson dedant ex la chanson one de u2:, La chanson compresser doit inclure quatre section :un le .mid

deux: one.itf, 3 .one_weights.bin, 4: le fichier gen tu ouvre et tu doit retrouver one.lip.rnd

I have done a lot to try and register for this site. I want to say thanks for all the previous downloads.

Great Job.

I wanted to let people know I will be making at least 5 more songs for everyone for the FTP.

I am still learning how to make songs though... I wanted to let the owner of the server know I can take some weight off your shoulders by hosting the files I got from their FTP and put them on my FTP.

I have not yet set up an ftp for my webserver but I think I could manage. I will do it until my bandwidth gets used up. I will also make a Torrent file for people as well once I get a nice list of files for everyone.

I am happy to give back anyway I can so let me know.

P.S. xbox scene sucks because of the lack of freedom of speech.

Le Grand Travail. J'ai voulu ai fait des personnes me connaître ferai au moins 5 chansons supplémentaires pour chacun pour le ftp. J'apprends toujours comment faire des chansons cependant... J'ai voulu ai fait le propriétaire du serveur me connaître peux prendre un certain poids outre de vos épaules en accueillant les dossiers que j'ai obtenus de leur ftp et les ai mis sur mon ftp.

I le démuni pourtant installé un ftp pour mon webserver mais moi pensent que je pourrais contrôler. Je le ferai jusqu'à ce que ma largeur de bande obtienne épuisée.

Je ferai également un dossier de torrent pour des personnes aussi bien une fois que j'obtiens une liste gentille de dossiers pour chacun.

Je suis heureux de me donner en arrière de toute façon peux ainsi me fais savoir.
